Before we started producing our own mini-loaders, we started our company in 1987 importing Skidsters. The Skidster can be seen as the predecessor of the mini-loader and was made and sold solely in the United Kingdom. We thought of the Skidster as an amazing machine, but definitely saw some room for improvement. That’s why we spent years of optimizing and adjusting the Skidster, eventually introducing the SHERPA mini-loader in 2002. Although the production of the Skidster has stopped, it appears these decent machines are built to last. This means some people are still in the possession of a Skidster. Are you one of those people? The SHERPA mini-loader is an improvement of the Skidster in every respect. The production of the Skidster has therefore come to an end, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any Skidster in circulation anymore.
