It’s a wrap – Bauma 2022!

That was it: Bauma 2022 has come to an end! After a long ride home from München, we came back tired yet completely fulfilled. We have spoken to many people and got lots of positive feedback on our machines, in which the new SHERPA S10 and F10 were particularly well-received. We also spotted a lot of trends ourselves and got many new ideas, so we’re excited to get back to work. Read more about our trip to München below!

Bauma is the world’s largest fair for machines and materials in construction. It takes place every three years in München and lasts for a full week. This year there were more than three thousand exhibitors, originating from nearly sixty different countries. The focus was on digitalization, zero emission, and methods and materials of the future. In short, the ideal event to present our new machines to the general public!

Obviously, a fair that large requires a lot of preparation and a big team effort. We therefore attended Bauma with six people: director Corné, Jur and Jurgen from Sales Export, Harm of Service & Parts, and Marcel from Assembly & Innovation. Our line-up of machines wasn’t too bad either, since we showcased a part of the revolutionary SHERPA Z-series and offered a very first look at the completely new SHERPA F10 and S10.

We presented three machines of the SHERPA Z-series at Bauma. To start, the SHERPA Z30, which has a reliable Honda gx390 motor. This machine is only 76 centimetres wide and can therefore easily be manoeuvred through small spaces. In addition, visitors could glare at the powerful SHERPA Z50 on tracks, driven by a Kubota diesel motor. At last, we showed the fully electric SHERPA Z20, with a strong and maintenance-friendly lithium-ion battery. All these machines are equipped with the latest techniques, like a hydraulic quick lock and adjustable footplate.

In addition to the machines mentioned above, we offered a very first look at the new SHERPA S10 and F10 at Bauma. Both machines are powered by a powerful and reliable lithium-ion battery that lasts for a full workday. Moreover, these emission free machines are equipped with lots of technical innovations: a hydraulic quick lock, energy-saving steering system, electrical parking brake, and many more. The S10 and F10 also both have an extremely high tractive and pushing force.

Our stand at Bauma was very well attended, in which the S10 and F10 particularly got lots of attention. As was expected, since these emission free and innovative machines matched this year’s theme perfectly. But we also got many positive feedback on the powerful machines of the Z-series. Not for nothing, because our machines are a great solution to work more efficiently, reduce costs, and fill in shortages caused by the tightening labour market. In construction, but in lots of other industries too!
