After only two weeks this customer told us his new SHERPA 100 had already run over seventy hours and was now considered an indispensable member of the team!
After our demonstration the customer couldn’t wait to get his hands on one of our mean machines and ordered lots of fitting attachments, like a bucket and set of pallet forks. We have no doubt this extra manpower will be put to good use by this paving company!
The production of our machines
The production of our machines takes place entirely in the Netherlands, where our assembly is situated almost adjacent to our head-office. We work with locally produced parts as much as possible, all of which are processed in our assembly. This is not only to monitor the quality of each machine we produce, but also to work as sustainably and eco-friendly as possible.
Collaboration between Loxam and SHERPA mini-loaders!
At SHERPA mini-loaders we have a clear mission: To make physically heavy work lighter, quicker and easier. A durable total solution, for everyone who requires it. That is the reason why we are so pleased with our latest partner, equipment rental company Loxam. Loxam has ordered the first copies of our latest machine: the Z10! Last month, the international trade fair MATEXPO in Kortrijk, had the first honour to show our Z10 to a broad audience. This is where the first orders for the Z10 were signed.
SHERPA Z10
Ever since 2018, we have been working on the new SHERPA Z-series. After extensive development and testing, the first machine of the series is now ready for production: the Z10. A fully electric machine that exceeds all expectations in terms of work force, ergonomics, design and user-friendliness.
The Z10 has many advantages relative to comparable machines. For instance a vibration-free foot plate, very low costs of ownership and an optimised driver position. In addition, the machine is fully modular and developed on the basis of all relevant safety laws, nationally as well as internationally.
Loxam
Loxam specialises in the rental of professional equipment. The company has 1,100 branches in 30 countries, where anyone can rent a suitable, safe and eco-friendly machine for their project. This way, Loxam, just as SHERPA miniloaders, contributes to a friendly labour environment. For man and nature alike.
Loxgreen, a concept by Loxam, specifically aims at the rental of machines with low emission. This concept seamlessly fits in with the core of the new Z10. This fully electric machine has zero emission and also consists of components that were produced locally as much as possible.
SHERPA Z10
Isn’t she lovely?! This is the first model of our new Z-series, the Z10. This beauty is driven by the proven Epower+ motor that is also used in our
SHERPA 100 ECO and 2SPEED. But that is just about it, in terms of similarities with the 100 models.
This machine was designed to be used in any conceivable situation, with the highest comfort; the foot plate is height adjustable and fitted with vibration dampers to guarantee a smooth ride on any substrate. With a width of only 78 cm and a foldable foot plate, this machine is able to manoeuvre in the tightest spots.
The lifting arm has a 15% greater reach and a 20% higher tipping load, also the lifting arm was redesigned to allow the driver a substantially better view on the load. A hydraulic quick locking is optional, it can be used by the driver to assemble and lock add-on parts without needing to get out of the machine.
The Z-series is equipped with multiple accessories to make these machines even safer, such as lights, a horn and hazard lights (option). Are you interested in the new Z10, our sales assistants will be happy to tell you more and show a demo!
Photoshoot of our SHERPA 100 ECO’s
We are proud of our SHERPA 100 ECO’s and that is why we had an exceptional photoshoot this week. These machines are the definition of compact versatility: easy to manoeuvre in small spaces, with a lot of capacity. The SHERPA 100 ECOs are all driven by a surprisingly strong electric motor and are excellently suitable for activities indoors, where harmful emission is not permitted.
