The people behind the machine

In a world where the market is flooded with anonymous machines and low-cost imports, one question truly matters: where and how is my machine actually built? For SHERPA, the answer can be found on its own assembly floor in Nistelrode. This is not where mass-produced, run-of-the-mill products roll off the line. It is where every machine is built with Brabant dedication and precision by SHERPA’s own skilled professionals.

From street to factory

SHERPA’s success was not born in an ivory tower, but on its knees in the sand. In 1987, Mart and Helma van den Hanenberg started out as importers, but they quickly saw that the machines available at the time fell short in real-world, heavy-duty applications. The machines had to be stronger, smarter and, above all, healthier for the user.

This led to a bold step in 2002: the start of SHERPA’s own miniloader production in Nistelrode. The goal was simple: to make heavy work lighter. This pioneering approach was even recognised with the Eimert Sinoo Award for drastically improving working conditions.

So when you buy a SHERPA, you are buying a machine with an award-winning history and a clear mission: to protect your health and your profitability.

Sherpa F50 aan het werk

No copy-paste, but R&D

The biggest difference compared to low-cost imports lies in the origin of the technology. At SHERPA, R&D is the brain of the organisation. SHERPA’s own engineers design every machine from the very first sketch.

They are in constant dialogue with the men and women in the field: pavers, landscapers, farmers and demolition workers. This allows them to understand where the machine can be improved even further.

It is this approach that has made SHERPA a global pioneer, especially in the field of electrification. While others are only just getting started, SHERPA had already introduced the world’s first fully electric miniloader in 2011: the SHERPA 100 Eco.

This many years of technical experience result in a machine that is not only emission-free, but also proven, reliable and built to take a beating.

Meticulous production

Anyone who walks into the factory in Nistelrode immediately understands why a SHERPA is not just some piece of junk. There is no anonymous mass production here. Every machine, and each of the more than 50 different attachments, is carefully assembled by specialists.

Because engineering and assembly take place under one roof, every step in the chain is controlled. Every SHERPA undergoes an extensive testing procedure before it leaves the factory. The result is a rock-solid product that feels as if it was built especially for you.

The reassurance of a local partner

The true value of Made in NL proves itself the moment maintenance is needed. With imported machines, you often have to wait months for parts from abroad. At SHERPA, everything is managed in-house.

Our central warehouse is located in Brabant, which means parts are almost always available immediately. Even more importantly, our family values guarantee a high level of service and a warm, personal relationship.

We are there for you when you need us.

Lighten the load

A SHERPA is more than a piece of steel on wheels. It is a trusted ally in the fight against physical strain.

It is a truly Dutch investment in quality, innovation and continuity. Built by skilled professionals in Nistelrode, designed to make your work lighter and more enjoyable every single day.
