Those who follow us on social media, have undoubtedly seen some impressive action shots of our machines pass by. These are all made by our colleague Danny, who has a background in multimedia design and therefore knows how to deliver the coolest photos. In addition, he is occupied with the marketing and communication strategies of SHERPA mini-loaders. Danny therefore is really active behind the scenes, but sort of a stranger to our customers. To change this, we conducted a small interview with him. Read along to get to know Danny!
My name is Danny Verhagen and I’m 28 years old. I just moved to Eindhoven and therefore really busy with fixing things in my new loft. Usually I spend a lot of my free time behind a camera or riding a motor cycle. At SHERPA I am responsible for the communications and multimedia.
I started on April first, so I have been working at SHERPA mini-loaders for almost a year now. Before this job I was in school, so I am very happy I get to apply everything I have learned during my study into practice here.
The responsibility and freedom I get here! There is much room for initiative and personal input, so I can really incorporate my own vision and identity into the work I do here. This is for example reflected in the photos I take.
The past months I have been mostly occupied with video, photography, and design, but I would like to grow into a more strategic function. Think of initiating marketing campaigns, monitoring communication objectives, etcetera. And in the meantime I would love to stay involved with multimedia design.
The release of the new Z-series! The whole process begun when I just started working here, so I immediately was in charge over the communication and marketing of the Z-series. I could completely organise it as I wanted to, which was really cool. I’m very proud I was allowed to run this project as a newcomer in the company!
